Help PCCS staff and volunteers to keep Provincetown beaches and ocean environment prisitine.
Join us to help clean-up the beaches!
PCCS will be cleaning up local beaches, with the help of volunteers like you. Work along side PCCS scientist, marine educators, volunteers, and interns to maintain the health of the Bay State's marine and coastal environment and the animals that call it home.
Balloons, six-pack rings, lines, nets, cigarette butts, and other items can be dangerous and even deadly to marine animals and birds. Help us to remove these items from our local beaches.
All needed materials will be provided, as will snacks and beverages at the end of the clean-up.
Mark your calendar and join us for one or all of the following beach clean-ups:
Tuesday, April 22 -- Earth Day
&
Saturday, September 20---CoastSweep
Exact location and time to be determined.
Additional activities, including open houses, lectures, book readings/signings, and field walks will be held in celebration of these special days. Please check under Special Events for more details.
