    Whale Week 2014: A Celebration of the Sea


    The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) is proud to launch the fourth annual Whale Week: A Celebration of the Sea. Whale Week is a week-long schedule of family friendly events all featuring a marine theme. Many events are free and there is something for everyone. Below is a partial listing of the week's events.     Meet Delilah
    Monday July 28th, 11AM, at the Hiebert Marine Lab, 5 Holway Ave. Meet Delilah. Step inside a life size right whale while learning about these amazing animals. Registration is not necessary. $3

    Home Made Boat Race

    Monday, July 28th, 5:00PM, adjacent to Fisherman's Pier in front of the Crown and Anchor Inn, CCS kicks-off Whale Week with a Home Made Boat Race to highlight marine debris in our ocean.     Lecture: Whales of Cape Cod
    Thursday, July 31st, 11-12 PM, at the Province Lands Visitor Center. Lecture: Whales of Cape Cod. Registration is not necessary. Free.

    Whale Games and Arts and Crafts
    Friday, Aug 1st, 10AM, Bas Relief Park, Provincetown. Marine themed games and competitions for kids of all ages 5-12. Arts and crafts activities. Registration is not necessary. Free.
